Nook are playful and incredibly limber mustelids combining the features of a ferret, raccoon, and otter. Almost unbelievably lucky, fate bends itself like a pretzel to accommodate the nook without any conscious effort on their part, something that promotes headaches and irritability in the otherwise prescient hiri. This inculcates a cheerful and freewheeling spirit, that is rarely bowed and almost never broken, because they know things will usually turn out well in the end. It also leads to them being banned from most gambling halls, something not helped by their short attention spans and klepto tendencies.
